Pencil Case Tag

Description

Hei guys. I wanted to do something different for a change.
My pencil case almost got abducted last week. That made me notice how important it is to me all of the sudden.
I was at work (laboratory, whoever read my last journal or joined my streams might have heard about it already) and we had a bunch of guests over that wanted to check out the lab and get to know the type of work you do over there. Suddenly my pencil case was not where I left it and I couldn't find it anywhere. I was super mega extra sure I left it ontop of my sketchbook but I also know that I tend to carry things around and leave them someplace without even noticing so I searched all the lab and all the office for it first before I got back to my idea that someone accidentally put it in their bag. I didn't want to think someone stole it because who the heck steals a stained old pencil case, haha.
Since I was way too shy to confront our guests about it I first bitched to Dae-Thalin on Whatsapp and then snuck into the office when noone else was in there and just opened the only bag I didn't know carefully. Found my pencil case right on top. As it happened right ontop of another pencil case of the exact same kind, haha. I still feel bad for looking into someones bag but this way I could retrieve it without any fuzz. Phew.

tl:dr someone almost accidentally stole my pencil case and thus had me realize that I would be pretty sad if I actually lost it and I got the idea to do the pencil case tag.
I threw in an extra drawing because only pencils would be rather boring wouldn't they, haha.

So yeah first things first: The almost-abducted-pencil-case itself in the top right hand corner. It's simple. Doesn't have any extra seperations in there but I'm happy with the chaos it keeps inside xD. That black stain right there is Deleter INK #2 from before I noticed how fucking leaky their containers are. Since then I keep my Inkcontainers plus the G-Pen in an extra box that I store upright, haha. The smaller blue stain is from when my fountain pen lost it's cap and leaked. Oop.

I'll do the left row of little items next and then it's from top left to bottom right.

That huge thing at the top is a regular eraser that someone who didn't really know me (only knew I was an artist) gave me for my birthday. I was really happy because I only had one eraser at this point that was too dear to me to use on something that wasn't a drawing, haha.

That broken thing right there was/is supposed to be a pencil sharpener. It used to have an container that was shaped like a screwdriver but I lost it somewhere and just recently the black base also broke off. Might glue that back on.

Next it the eraser I consider too fancy for every day work because it gets pencil erased stainless almost all the time. Unless you pressed really hard. It's not magic either after all.

The little piece of cake some of you might know from an earlier deviation of mine is against popular belief NOT an eraser. It's just a pendant that a friend once gave to me c: It used to hang on the zipper of the case but the chain broke and I was too lazy to fix it.

I used to collect red bull tincan openers for a while but then I switched to monster energy. Old habits die hard though and that way I kept the opener of the red bull I was given for an experiment in Uni (the effect of the coffeine contained in an energy drink on pulse and heart rhythm. I was the test subject, haha)

A whole bunch of old Faber Castell pencils. Those range from HB to 2B and are chewed on like ALL OF MY PENS AND PENCILS OKAY. I'm not even ashamed xD! I already considered buying a chewing toy for dogs only to save all my pens and pencils from bite marks but then I thought: meh, why bother.
That blue one was an advertising gift from WOPEX. It actually isn't that good for drawing because it's really hard but it's also really heavy and that makes it perfect to learn pen spinning with. It's gotten too short to properly do it by now though.

That fella right there is an eraser-pencil. That means it has an eraser for a lead. It's the most amazing thing there is. I swear. Try it.

STABILO fine liners that I use to vary notes I take in Uni. Sometimes get misused for idle-doodling, haha.

An ROTRING fountain pen. It's cap is really heavy and tends to fall off. That's the bastard that stained the case, haha.

A LAMY fountain pen. I used this not exactly legally obtained fountain pen since high school and I still use it. I never really got into the whole ballpoint business except for drawing, haha.

A pink textmarker ontop of a bendable ruler with tigers on it. The marker get's abused for drawing every now and then aswell, haha.

A dragon that I sketched some night when I was watching a movie with my dad.

My precioussssss. An 0.5 ECOBRA mechanical pencil with HB leads. That thing is the bomb. I love drawing with it.

I just noticed that I do not have one multiliner with me. Neither do I have a ballpoint atm. Wow. I really need to steal that one (of a thousand) ballpoint pen from the lab because it draws marvelously! Haha.
I actually keep my multiliners in a different case. I've got five in total. 0.1 ; 0.25 ; 0.3 (2x) and 0.5 . I totally fell for my G-Pen though so I mostly line with it now when I have the time and do not have to mind if I get ink all over my hands, haha.

Art is mine and so is the pencil case and it's contents c:

I was looking into buying a good mechanical pencil for adding details to my drawings. What would be something good to look for?
